Volunteer Position: Executive Board Member

Position Overview: Unity for Children is seeking passionate individuals to join our Executive Board of Directors as volunteers. As an Executive Board Member, you will play a crucial role in providing oversight and strategic direction to implement our organization's mission. This is a unique opportunity for dedicated individuals who are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of children.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ambassadorship: Act as ambassadors for Unity for Children, promoting our mission and values within the community. Engage with stakeholders, build relationships, and represent the organization at events and meetings.

  2. Generosity: Demonstrate commitment to our mission by making a financial contribution that reflects your capacity and dedication to the cause. Your generosity sets an example for others and helps sustain our programs.

  3. Fiduciary Responsibility: Provide oversight and guidance on financial matters, ensuring the organization operates ethically and in compliance with all relevant regulations. Review and approve budgets, financial reports, and major financial decisions.

  4. Voting Responsibilities: Participate actively in board meetings, contribute to discussions, and vote on key decisions that shape the strategic direction of Unity for Children. Your input will be invaluable in guiding the organization's growth and impact.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for the well-being of children and a commitment to Unity for Children's mission.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to contribute both time and financial support to the organization.

  • Previous experience serving on a board or in a leadership capacity is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Willingness to actively participate in meetings and contribute expertise to organizational initiatives.
