There are so many unique ways to support Unity for Children. Check out these opportunities to get involved with our work!

Are you looking to make a tangible difference in the lives of children and families across our community? We have plenty of volunteer opportunities to those who are committed to promoting child welfare and safeguarding the well-being of our youngest members.

As a part of our changemakers team, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based policies and proactive measures that address critical issues such as substance abuse, trauma, and neglect.

Whether you're an advocate, a researcher, a policymaker, or a community organizer, your unique skills and perspectives are invaluable in our collective effort to create a safer, healthier future for all children.

  • We're dedicated to addressing child welfare starting at a state level with evidence-based policies and proactive measures. This includes reviewing current legislation, analyzing ACE data, learning from successful models, drafting legislation prioritizing ongoing commitment, ensuring policies are evidence-based and inclusive, collaborating with officials, providing testimony and research, and mobilizing stakeholders to advocate for passage.

  • Consider becoming a part of our multidisciplinary task force, including government agencies, non-profits, healthcare professionals, educators, law enforcement, and community members, to address child welfare issues collaboratively. We'll host forums and focus groups to gather input, foster partnerships among stakeholders, and formalize agreements to ensure effective collaboration and coordinated efforts in promoting child welfare.

  • Collaborate with us on program development, monitoring, and evaluation. This involves training and capacity-building for stakeholders involved, and develop mechanisms for ongoing monitoring and evaluation of effectiveness and impact.
