Volunteer Position: Associate Board Member

Position Overview: Unity for Children is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Associate Board Member as volunteers. As an Associate Board Member, you will play a vital role in contributing knowledge and time to Executive Board committees and special projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable board experience while actively participating in the organization's initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Committee Participation: Contribute your expertise and insights by actively participating in Executive Board committees and special projects. Collaborate with board members to address key organizational challenges and contribute to strategic discussions.

  2. Resource Development: Assist in raising resources for Unity for Children by leveraging your network, participating in fundraising events, and exploring innovative ways to support the organization's financial sustainability.

  3. Ambassadorship: Serve as an ambassador for Unity for Children by expanding our network, building relationships within the community, and promoting the organization's mission. Actively engage with stakeholders to increase awareness and support for our programs.

  4. Board Experience: Gain valuable experience in non-profit governance by working closely with Executive Board Members. Attend board meetings, contribute to discussions, and learn about the strategic decision-making processes that drive the organization forward.
