Role Overview: The Pediatric Health Professional Advisory Board Member will play a vital role in providing expert advice and insights to guide the organization's programs and policy development. This is an opportunity for distinguished pediatric health professionals to contribute their knowledge and experience to shape the direction of our initiatives and ensure they align with the latest advancements and best practices in pediatric health.

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Guidance: Provide expert advice on the strategic direction of the organization, with a focus on pediatric health and well-being.

  2. Program Design: Collaborate with the organization's team to design evidence-based programs that address the unique health needs of children.

  3. Policy Development: Contribute to the development of policies that promote the health and well-being of children, ensuring alignment with current medical standards and ethical considerations.

  4. Quality Assurance: Review and assess the quality of proposed and existing programs, offering insights to enhance their effectiveness and impact.

  5. Research and Innovation: Stay informed about the latest research, trends, and innovations in pediatric health, providing recommendations for integrating new findings into the organization's work.

  6. Advocacy: Support the organization's advocacy efforts by providing expert opinions and insights on pediatric health issues to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed and practicing pediatrician, pediatric nurse, child psychologist, or another relevant pediatric health professional.

  • Substantial experience in pediatric health, with a strong understanding of evidence-based practices and current medical standards.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.

  • Commitment to the organization's mission and values.
